Medicinal Properties: Traditionally, bilberry leaves have been used to control blood sugar levels in people with diabetes. The leaves can be made into extracts or used to make bilberry tea. Some studies suggest that bilberry/blueberry leaves are actually much higher in antioxidants than the fruit itself.
